Withdrawal from an agency services agreement
Scope and time limit
This information applies to consumers with a statutory withdrawal right for agency services contracted at a distance or away from business premises. You may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of entering into the agreement. The period is 30 calendar days in the statutory cases of unsolicited home visits or organised excursions. This is not a withdrawal right for a notarised property purchase.
How to withdraw

Consequences
Payments received will be reimbursed without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of receiving your withdrawal, normally by the same payment method and without additional charges. If, after receiving the required information, you expressly requested work to start during the withdrawal period, an appropriate proportionate payment for services already supplied may be due only insofar as permitted by law.
Full performance
For paid services the right expires upon full performance only where work started with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you would lose the right once the agreement had been fully performed. Required declarations are obtained separately and are not replaced by browsing this website.
